KyQHA Hires New Executive Secretary

The KyQHA Board recently announced Jennifer Elwell as the new Executive Secretary effective September 15. Since March of this year Jennifer has acted as KyQHA's web developer and will continue to improve the association's electronic communications. Jennifer has had life-long experience in the horse industry and is a University of Kentucky graduate with degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Communications. For nearly 9 years, Jennifer has worked for the Kentucky Corn and Small Grain Growers Associations as well as several other agricultural-based associations and businesses. She has also served on county and state 4-H horse councils and currently sits on the management committee for the Eastern National 4-H Horse Roundup.

I am extremely excited about this opportunity to work within an industry that is so near and dear to my heart," said Jennifer. "I plan to assist the KyQHA board of directors improve member services and our image as a leading authority and player in Kentucky's equine industry."
