Queen Contest

The Kentucky Quarter Horse Queen, Jr. Queen and Princess will represent the state of Kentucky at horse shows across the state, competitions and promotional events. The KY Queen will represent the state at the 2007 Quarter Horse Congress to compete for the National title of Congress Queen.

This honor is one that will allow you to meet new people, get involved and represent an association that is highly respected. The contest will be held at the 2007 Summer Spectacular July 18-22 and the Queen, Jr. Queen and Princess will also be crowned this weekend. The contest consists of an interview, test over the AQHA rule book and a horsemanship pattern. This pattern will be done in conjunction with the summer spectacular horse show.

The only requirement to compete is that you are a KyQHA member. No prior involvement in the Quarter Horse Association is required, just a desire to learn and compete. A schedule of events will be sent out to all participating contestants.

Please consider representing your state this year as a queen contestant and I hope to be in contact with you soon.

Thank You.
