Download the membership application form here. The Kentucky Amateur Quarter Horse Association is a division of the Kentucky Quarter Horse Association and operates within KQHA's scope of the by-laws, rules, and regulations. The objectives of the KAQHA are as follows:
- to improve and promote the Quarter Horse breed in Kentucky.
- to encourage and promote the development of the Amateur and Novice Amateur horsemen in the state.
- to aquaint members with the KQHA and the American Quarter Horse Association and their structure and functions.
Annual dues to KAQHA are $15.00. Membership in KAQHA is open to any person holding a current AQHA amateur or novice amateur card. KAQHA members must also be KQHA members for the year of membership. The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31. Membership entitles each person to one vote per motion at KAQHA meetings and at the annual meeting held in December each year. A person must be a member of KAQHA and KQHA to be eligible for year-end awards.
