Overview: The KyQHA current president is an ex-officio member of each committee. The current 1st Vice President and 2nd Vice President oversee all activities undertaken by, and all committee work planned by the KyQHA.
Annual Meeting and Convention
Coordinate the needs of KyQHA with the host hotel for meeting space, receptions, meals etc.

Finance Committee
Recommends to the Board of Directors appropriate accounting and book keeping procedures, reviews financial statements, oversees year-end tax preparation. Along with President and 1st Vice President prepares annual budget to be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval.

Shall be responsible to annually nominate Director and Officer candidates broadly representative of the membership and receives all nominations from the membership.

Monitorand coordinate all public policy issues of importance to KyQHA.

Coordinate the production of all KyQHA publications including the Quarterly and the Directory.

Coordinate any and all activities associated with Queen and/or Princess Contests.

Coordinate all activities associated with trail riding including the annual KY AQHA Ride.

Review youth scholarship applicants and make awards based upon monies available in any given year.

Develop and coordinate sponsor program that encompasses KyQHA, KAQHA and KQHYA needs.

Coordinate all activities associated with Quarter Horse racing interests in Kentucky.

With board input, create annual Take AIM plan and produce annual report based upon Take AIM activities meeting all AQHA deadlines.
